Freedom Academy EST. 1983 Freedom Academy has been helping troubled teenagers since 1983. Since that time we have seen hundereds of students come here and realize their full potential that God has for them. Many of our students came to Freedom Village never dreaming they could or even would graduate from high school. Through the power of God and their hard work many students here have realized that dream and have gone on to become successfull and productive members in their churches, communities, and have great families. Student Council Activities Each year the student body elects a student council. The council has done a great job promoting school spirit and sponsoring diffrent events through out the year. Below are pictures of some of these great events. ENJOY! 50's Night Its a blast to the past. The fifties were a time in American history where muscle cars and poodle skirts were in. We all had a great night with a dinner featuring diner food (hambergers, fries, and cherry soda) and a hula hoop, bean bag throwing contest. Spirit Week The student council created spirit week. Each day had a theme. Monday was nerd day, Tuesday was bible character day, Wednesday was senior switch and sports day, Thursday was Heritage day and Friday west cost day (sleep in day). Take a look. Monday Tuesday Wednesday (for the sports dress see photo gallery) Thursday Friday Shhhh!! Everybody was sleeping in to wake up at 6am on west cost time. We all need a day to sleep in especially after a long year in school. For more pictures check the photo gallery.
